Our Financial Protection Insurance

Period of Insurance: Valid for trips booked between 1 June 2023 and 31 May 2024 and subject to trips being submitted to the insurer by the policy holder no later than 31 May 2024.*

Single Parents on Holiday Ltd. is a company committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial protection. We are therefore pleased to announce that, at no extra cost to you, and in accordance with the current “The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018” all passengers booking with Single Parents on Holiday Ltd. are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation invoice. The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Single Parents on Holiday Ltd.

This Policy is issued by Evolution Insurance Company Limited, which is registered in Gibraltar No. 88737 with a registered office at 5/5 Crutchett’s Ramp, Gibraltar GX11 1AA.

Evolution Insurance Company Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Commission in Gibraltar and authorised and subject to limited regulation by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK. Details about the extent of our authorisation and regulation by the FCA are available from us on request.

In the unlikely event of Insolvency of Single Parents on Holiday Ltd. please follow the procedures below:

Claims should be submitted in writing within 14 days of the Administration order or the Single Parents on Holiday Ltd. being declared insolvent supported by documented evidence quantifying the value of the claim.

Policy exclusions: This policy will not cover any monies paid back to you by your Travel Insurance or any losses which are recoverable under another insurance or bond (with the exception of Credit and Debit card). This policy will also not cover any loss sustained by Passenger(s) booked on a flight-inclusive package sold and commencing within the United Kingdom.

Policy Period covers bookings made within the dates specified regardless of date of travel.

*For trips booked between 00.01 hours 14 May 2022 to 24.00 hours 31 May 2023 insurance was also issued by Evolution Insurance Company Limited, under the same policy number: EV2105UKFI0058.

Single Parents on Holiday Ltd. has taken out employers liability insurance, public/products liability insurance, professional liability insurance, and emergency assistance cover providing their customers with further peace of mind. The current policy has been taken out with AXA XL Insurance Company UK Limited underwritten and administered by Touchstone Underwriting Limited.

Your Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance to cover yourself and your child/ren in the event of medical or other emergencies which may necessitate cancellation of your trip, or in case of theft, hospital treatment, a prolonged stay abroad, or special arrangements for your or your child/ren’s return home.
