Join us and other single parents and their children for an Easter skiing/snowboarding holiday in the Austrian Alps!

This year, we will be staying in the winter sports resort Schladming, a well-known, mountain village, surrounded by the spectacular mountain scenery of the Dachstein-Tauern region. Schladming’s famous 4-Mountains-Ski Circuit (Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hausberg Hochwurzen and Reiteralm) forms part of Austria's biggest ski region, ‘Ski Amadé’, with runs stretching over 860 km.

Skiing/Snowboarding Fun:

Our family friendly 4-star hotel is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from Planai cable car station which will take you up to the famous ski area of the award-winning Schladming 4-Mountains Ski Circuit. The ski area consists of 52 cable cars and lifts which link 115 kilometres of pistes – a dream for skiers and snowboarders of all levels! We made sure to choose a resort where you don't have to take off your skis once and can enjoy a huge choice of blue, red and black runs.

Austria offers some of the best skiing in the world and its ski schools are renowned for their qualified instructors who will teach your children playfully and help them progress so quickly that they will want to come back year after year! For the youngest, there is a ski kindergarten where they can playfully get used to their skis. To get you and the kids ready for the slopes, we will take you to the ski/snowboard hire shop by the cable car station where your pre-booked equipment will be waiting for you.

Other Activities on Offer:

Of course, there are many ways to enjoy the beautiful Alpine landscape: Explore by foot and admire the panoramic views, get on your cross-country skis and explore 20 km of cross country tracks or treat yourself and the children to a ride through the wonderful winter scenery in a horse-drawn carriage.
But make sure to save some energy for our toboggan evening in nearby Rohrmoos which will be a fun and memorable experience for kids and parents!

The Hotel and its Facilities:

Our hotel offers you all the comforts our single parents and their children will need after an active day on the slopes. 4-star accommodation in newly refurbished rooms with cable TV, telephone, safe, balcony and en suite bathroom invite to unwind. Look forward to relaxing in the outdoor pool and a little pampering in the hotel's sauna and spa area followed by a 4-course gourmet dinner made from local and home-grown produce. Our friendly childminder will ensure that the younger kids don’t get bored whilst their parents enjoy dinner and a chat. She will organise games or take the children to the kids room to keep them entertained.
