Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Its 9,251 square kilometres encompass citrus and olive groves, pine-forested mountains and some of Europe's cleanest beaches. The island has a mild, typically Mediterranean, climate with 340 days of sunshine a year. Prominent geographic features include the Troodos massif that occupies most of the southwestern part of the country, the Pentadaktylos range in the north around Kyrenia and the Messaoria Plain.

The Hotel and Facilities:

Our family friendly 4-star hotel is located directly on the beach of Chlorakas village and only a 5-minute drive from the picturesque harbour of Paphos. Beautiful gardens stretching between the hotel and the beach with plentiful sun loungers invite to relax and are only a stone's throw away from the restaurant, bar and pool bar and the large adult and children's pool.

The family section of this elegant hotel features one-bedroom apartments providing all the facilities our single parent families could wish for during their all-inclusive stay: The apartments are fully air-conditioned with en-suite bathroom, telephone, satellite TV, radio, refrigerator, hairdryer, kitchenette, kettle, safe and a private balcony or terrace. There is also a baby monitoring and baby sitting service available on request.

Sports and Entertainment:

With a playground and kids club for different age groups as well as excellent sports facilities, our hotel is suitable for single parent families with young children as well as teenagers. The kids club offers 4 to 11 year olds daily activities including drawing, structured games and much more. There is also a games room with video games and internet access, table tennis, pool table, darts, a multi-purpose sports court and a wide range of water sports (water-skiing, banana boats, scuba diving, etc.), which the older children will enjoy.

Playing tennis, squash, beach volleyball or working out in the hotel's gym will be an enjoyable experience in Cyprus' pleasant October temperature. If you prefer a little pampering, the hotel has a health spa with a wide range of beauty treatments, massages, steam bath, sauna and Jacuzzi hydro-massage.

Excursions:

If you are keen to explore the island, you can choose from a number of organized trips. Historic trips include a visit of the ancient city of Kourion, an impressive, unspoiled site perched high on the cliff top. Also worth seeing is Aphrodite's Rock. According to legend, the Goddess of Love and Beauty was born from the foam of the sea at this spot. Alternatively, discover the remarkable town of Paphos with the catacombs of St. Solomoni and the Pillar of St. Paul.

Nature lovers will enjoy a jeep safari through rugged hills and valleys, picturesque villages and pine forests reaching some of the most remote places on the island. Discover the Troodos Mountains - the Green heart of Cyprus. A memorable day off the beaten track through idyllic mountain villages unchanged for generations. Visit Mount Olympus - the highest point in Cyprus - with a peak of 1951 meters and take in the panoramic views in Troodos Square.

There is a range of lovely boat trips on offer starting off at Paphos harbour. Very popular with children and adults alike are always our trips to the water park "Watermania" with some of Europe's highest kamikaze slides, adventure and activity pools, caves and waterfalls and much more.
